This was January of 2013, flying from Chesterfield, VA down to Ft. Myers, FL with a fuel stop in Georgia. We had quite a headwind the whole trip.

This was truly and awesomely terrifying. I did not do it, but just watching and seeing the terror in people’s eyes was thrilling and scary.
